Prime Minister, the Most Hon. Dr. Hubert Minnis paid a courtesy call today on the Office of the Spouse of the Prime Minister at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Goodman's Bay Corporate Centre. 

Mrs. Patricia Minnis, wife of the Prime Minister, is pictured during this First Courtesy Call, as she welcomed the Prime Minister, along with Minister of Foreign Affairs the Hon. Darren Henfield, Permanent Secretary Jack Thompson, and members of staff.

Grand Bahama Tech and Industrial Forum Set for April - Mar 28, 2019 - 4:12:07 PM

Prime Minister the Most Hon. Dr. Hubert Minnis, is set to officially open a Technical and Industrial High School Forum and Exhibition on Friday, April 5, 2019.

The event, jointly sponsored by the Office of the Prime Minister in Grand Bahama and the Ministry of Labour, was announced on Wednesday, March 27 during a press conference at OPM.  Minister of Labour, Senator the Hon. Dion Foulkes, is also expected to be in attendance.

The Tech Fair will be held on Friday from 10 am to 3 pm at the St. Georges High School Gymnasium...

Vegetable Harvest at Gambier Primary School - Mar 28, 2019 - 3:57:20 PM

Harvest!  Vegetables have been cultivated at Gambier Primary School Garden as a project of Office of the Spouse -- Mrs. Patricia Minnis, wife of the Prime Minister.  Grade 6 students participated in the project which has produced bountiful beets, onions, tomatoes, sweet peppers, and broccoli.  Mrs. Minnis and School Principal Delores Forbes are pictured sharing in the enthusiasm of the recent harvest.  The next planting will be of melon and pumpkin, which the students will enjoy as appetizing dishes prepared by school lunch providers.  (Photos/Courtesy Ann Higgins)

Dancers in Grand Bahama took to the stage, at the start of the E. Clement Bethel National Arts Festival dance adjudications on the island March 27, 2019.  Students presented performances in modern, jazz, popular and international folk dances, to cheers and applause of the audience at Grand Lucayan Convention Centre -- adjudicated by Cultural Icon Lawrence Carroll.

Pinewood MP Reuben Rahming arranged the introduction to Johnson while Bayley was in The Bahamas recently. Bayley told Johnson 38 years ago he started out as an assistant purser onboard a ship and today he heads the company that has been voted Best Cruise Line Overall for 15 consecutive years by readers of Travel Weekly...
