NASSAU, Bahamas – Sunshine Insurance (Agents &
Brokers) Ltd.’s 15th annual Elmira College essay competition is
officially open.
The contest gives 10th, 11th and 12th grade
students an opportunity to win $150,000 in scholarships. The first
place winner takes home $60,000 scholarship and the three runners-up
will each receive $30,000 scholarships.

attend fully-funded training courses across a range of areas, including
rural development, IT, telecommunications and renewable energy, in
association with the Commonwealth Secretariat.

a part of the march to the 50th anniversary of Majority Rule, seven (7)
of Sir Sidney Poitier's films will be shown on ZNS without commercial
interruption, beginning 14 February 2016. The broadcasting of these
films also coincides with Sir Sidney Poitier’s birthday, which is on 20
February, when he will turn 89 years old.
To this end, The Ministry of Foreign
