The Embassy of Japan is pleased to announce that the Ministry of
Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of Japan,
continues to offer the Research (Graduate Studies) to Bahamians,
commencing in the academic year 2017.
It is our hope that the scholarship will assist the
human resource development efforts of the Government of The Bahamas.

a part of the march to the 50th anniversary of Majority Rule, seven (7)
of Sir Sidney Poitier's films will be shown on ZNS without commercial
interruption, beginning 14 February 2016. The broadcasting of these
films also coincides with Sir Sidney Poitier’s birthday, which is on 20
February, when he will turn 89 years old.
To this end, The Ministry of Foreign

Widescreen Film and Music Video Festival starting Monday June 1st, 2015. The 6-day event will take place from
