These aforementioned Bahamian recording artists have at one time or another, been signed to major recording companies, and attained some degree of international success. Another name was recently added to this elite group, with the signing of Alexandria Christie to Interscope Records. The Music Momentum Summit (MuMo), could not be announced at a more opportune time, while the attention of the major music industry is again drawn to the shores of the Bahama Isles.

Atlanta, Georgia - Bahamian recording artist TaDa recently paid a courtesy call to the Bahamas Consulate General of Atlanta, while visiting a number of recording studios in the area.  In early February 'TaDa gave a farewell performance at Uptown Lounge before leaving the country indefinitely.  Her voice can be heard by millions of viewers throughout the world on the recent “Its Better in The Bahamas” TV ad campaign by the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism. TaDa is pictured (left) with  Katherine B. Smith, JP, the Consul General for The Bahamas in Atlanta (right).

Freeport, Grand Bahama - (The Freeport News) Bahamian recording artist Terneille "TaDa" Burrows stopped by the Rotary Club of Lucaya meeting yesterday to promote Bahamian artists and appeal for local support in creating an art and entertainment industry that the nation can be proud of.

Burrows treated the Rotarians to samples of her work, from popular jingles to original songs.

The singer, who has opened concerts for international artists such as Bow Wow and Carl Thomas, stated that Bahamians are equally as talented as international performers and deserve the same respect...

Nassau, Bahamas - With her farewell performance at Uptown Lounge this past Saturday night, there were mixed emotions amongst the crowd of about 350 fans in attendance. Many were excited to see what their favorite Bahamian artist/songwriter had 'up her sleeve', while others were solemn at the prospect of TaDa leaving the country indefinitely. Until the video footage is released later this week, one cannot really grasp fully the chic/cool/love vibes that TaDa, her band Sway, and her backup vocalists Wendy and Shane Lewis brought to the stage. Simply put, TaDa has definitely proven that she's THAT GIRL!

TaDa had previously stated at her press conference, that she was looking forward to performing with legendary Ronnie Butler. Unfortunately, Ronnie had to leave event early for his own gig, but she was honored to know that he had come out to show his consistent support ...
