Police are seeking the public’s help regarding any information they may have regarding the whereabouts of Bahamas Department of Corrections Officer, 26 – year old Alston Lamar Forbes of Kent  Drive, Coral Harbour.

Forbes is wanted in connection with a quantity of dangerous drugs found at the Bahamas Department of Corrections on May 1, 2017.

Forbes is a medium brown male, medium build, about 5’ 8” in height...

Police are asking members of the public to come forth with any information they may have to assist in solving a shooting incident that has left a man dead on Friday 12th May 2017.

According to reports, shortly after 12:30am, police received a report of gunshots being fired on Whitaker Avenue off Carmichael Road. When officers arrived in the area they met the lifeless body of an adult male in the driver’s seat of a Chevy vehicle, who had been shot. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene...

Police are appealing to members of the public to come forth with any information they have that can assist in solving a shooting incident that has left a man dead and another detained in serious condition on Saturday 6th May 2017.

According to reports, shortly after 9:00am, two adult males had just pulled up to a home located on Providence Avenue in a vehicle, when two males emerged from a vehicle and shot them. The vehicle sped off and the two suspects fled on foot. One of the males died on the scene and the other male was rushed to hospital where he remains in serious condition...

Police in Grand Bahama need your assistance in identifying and locating a male suspect who is wanted by the Central Detective Unit for murder.

The suspect is described as standing between 6ft – 6’1” in height, weighing approximately 180 lbs., slim built with dark complexion.

The suspect is wanted in connection with a murder which occurred on Oat Street, Freeport, Grand Bahama sometime around 9:00pm on Sunday 1st April, 2017.

According to reports, McKenzie was arrested without incident around 2:00pm on Saturday 4th March 2017, when officers from the Firearm’s Tracing and Investigation Unit assisted by officers from the Eastern Division acting on intelligence, conducted a search of home located at Tundra Court, Winton Meadows and found McKenzie in possession of a .38 revolver and a .40 pistol with 28 live rounds of ammunition...
