Nassau, Bahamas – “Leadership and Accountability in Government,” a newly
written book by Dr Richard C. Demeriette was recently presented to
senior officials at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Honourable
Minister, Fred Mitchell, and Ambassador to the UAE and the State of
Qatar, H.E. Tony Joudi, both received their copies from the author who
has served 40 years in the public sector.

Bahamas Air Sea Rescue Association (BASRA), Robert was regularly seen

March 11, 2016. It tells the fascinating story of The Bahamas using
beautiful antique maps as the backdrop. Maps from 1579 to 1865 are
featured and discussed along with the history of the country around
those time periods.
The book examines the geological history of The Bahamas as well as early
explorers and settlers, the pirate era and British loyalists who
populated many of the out islands after the American Revolutionary War.
There is a chapter dedicated the boom the Civil War brought to the
