Former Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. Hubert Ingraham on Friday presented a
copy of his book, 'I Say What I Mean and I Mean What I Say,' to
Minister for Grand Bahama the Hon. Ginger Moxey during a courtesy call.

During a courtesy call at the Office of the Governor General, on April
26, 2022, Deputy to the Governor General Cynthia Pratt received a
presentation of a framed copy of “Desert Rose After the Rainstorm," by
award-winning photographer Eric Rose. The fine-art print is a part of
his "Urban Beauty" series, that highlights natural beauty in urban
communities throughout The Bahamas.
Over the years, Rose’s work
in fine arts has been recognized both locally and internationally and
has won him several awards. He most recently won the top award for
Photography in the 2021 E. Clement Bethel National Arts Festival.
The Grand Bahama Disaster Relief Foundation (GBDRF), a charitable
organization founded by the Grand Bahama Port Authority (GBPA), and
funded entirely by private donations, is launching a new home repair

information for Census 2022 took the Oath of Secrecy on Monday, April 4,
2022 during their launch ceremony. Census workers of Bimini, the Berry
Islands and Abaco joined the 11 a.m. session preliminaries online. They

launch ceremony was held at the Church of the Ascension. Island

Out Island Water Company was created by Trevor Williams, a native of the
island of New Providence. The startup will specialize in purified water
manufacturing, water bottling and manufacturing ice. The Access
Accelerator Small Business Development Centre (Access Accelerator)
assisted Out Island Water Company on Sal Salvador to receive funding
approval of $207,500. The capital injection came from the Bahamas
Entrepreneurial Venture Fund in the form of loan and equity funding.
