Sneak peek behind-the-scenes as Broadway in Concert 2010 gets ready - Mar 25, 2010 - 5:14:17 PM
Freeport
,
Grand Bahama
-- You know the song
“There’s
no business like show business, like no business I know. Everything about it is
appealing ...” That is true, but what the song doesn’t
tell you is that everything is also hard work, and the talented cast of the
upcoming musical Broadway in Concert 2010 are hard at work now, with less than
a month until they hit the stage on April 15th with 4 shows through the 18th.
Many productions don’t like people to sneak
a peek at rehearsals. Without the fancy make-up and costumes, the set still
under construction, and no colourful spotlights and amplified sound, they worry
“everything about it
won’t be
appealing …”
But when you see so many young people hard
at work singing, dancing, and learning the choreography, teenagers who are
working out the set changes and backstage coordination, adults who are happy to
give of their time...

successful spay/neuter clinic in High Rock last week.

field clinic held in the parish hall of St. Nicholas Anglican Church in four
and a half days. 25 dogs and puppies,
and 8 cats were surrendered to the HSGB during the clinic.

site; several teams of HSGB staff and volunteers worked from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
daily picking up and returning animals to their homes. Dogs
