Freeport, Grand Bahama Island – Local retail giant Dolly Madison Home Center and the new all inclusive Memories Grand Bahama Beach and Casino Resort have teamed up to reward residents for shopping at home. Under the theme, ‘Buy Local’, when shoppers spend $20 or more at Dolly Madison from now until October 10th, 2014, they become eligible to enter to win luxurious all inclusive one night stays for two adults plus two children (ages 12 or under) at the beautiful Memories Grand Bahama Beach and Casino Resort. The campaign officially kicked off Thursday October 18th, 2014 and was inspired by what Mr. Don Roberts of Dolly Madison referred to as “the need for locals to support their own economy”.

General Manager at Memories Grand Bahama Beach and Casino Resort, Gabriel Varela expressed his enthusiasm for partnering in this campaign with Dolly Madison by saying, “Grand Bahamians really need to experience what we have to offer without having to hop on a plane, rent a car and incur all the other expenses associated with travel, as we offer luxurious all-inclusive comfort for one low price – the perfect vacation haven or weekend getaway conveniently located right here.”

Denise Adderley, Bahamas Director of Sales & Marketing for Blue Diamond Hotels & Resorts enthusiastically expressed that “Memories Grand Bahama Beach and Casino Resort is committed to ensuring that our local residents have the opportunity to experience what Memories has to offer and we’re excited to reward local residents for shopping and vacationing locally at home.”

Dolly Madison shoppers can enter as many times as they like with each purchase of $20 or more. Don Roberts said of Memories Grand Bahama Beach and Casino Resort, “It’s the perfect getaway without having to leave the island and when you shop at Dolly Madison, you get the chance to experience this spectacular resort on us.”
