2014 TCI Top Model Contest & Fashion Extravaganza Announced

PROVIDENCIALES, Turks and Caicos Islands; Wednesday, January 22nd, 2014 – A career as an international model awaits those that sign up for the upcoming 2014 TCI Top Model Contest & Fashion Extravaganza!

This coming Saturday, January 25th, Organizers of the Turks & Caicos Islands preeminent event for Fashion, Beauty, Arts and Entertainment will be holding a Contestants and Fashion Models Search for this year’s themed event: The Dollhouse!

The Contestants and Fashion Models Search will take place on both Grand Turk and Providenciales. On Providenciales, the search will be held at Turks & Caicos Islands Football Association (TCIFA) National Academy on Venetian Road from 10AM to 12NOON. In Grand Turk, registrants are asked to meet at the Victoria Public Library on Front Street from 10AM to 11AM.

Potential contestants need to be age 15 – 24, 5’6” or taller without heels and size 0-6. Females models must be age 16 or older, 5’6” or taller and size 0 – 14! Males must be age 17 or older, 5’10” or taller and fit. This year, the event is open to Juniors aged 10 – 15! All persons residing in the Turks and Caicos Islands are invited to register and participate, regardless or race, ethnicity or nationality. All juniors and persons under 18 must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

The annual Top Model Contest is the most hotly anticipated event on TCI’s social and events calendar. It’s an event where fashion, beauty, entertainment and drama collide to create an evening of true opulence and glamour.

On Friday, May 2nd 2014 at the Williams Auditorium in Providenciales, the new FACE of the Turks & Caicos’ preeminent title will be named – TCI Top Model 2014! This year’s extravaganza is expected to be more spectacular than before with surprises, guest appearances and fantastic prizes going to the winner and consolation gifts those that compete.
