Progressive National Party reveals full slate of candidates

- The Progressive National Party (PNP) revealed its full slate of candidates to contest the November 9 General elections. The candidates were presented to the media and a throng of party faithful at the PNP Headquarters along Airport Road in Providenciales on Wednesday, August 22.

They are (from left standing) George Lightbourne, representing Electoral District #1 – Grand Turk North; Adrian Williams running in Electoral District #8 – Blue Hills (High Rock area); Don Hue Gardiner, Electoral District #4 – North Caicos, Middle Caicos and Parrot cay; Rex Swann, Electoral District #2 – Grand Turk South; Royal Robinson – At Large; Carlos Simons (Deputy Leader) At Large; Leader Dr. Rufus Ewing – At Large; Wayne Garland – At Large; Thomas Clay Ewing, will represent Electoral District #9 – Five Cays; another former MP Gregory Lightbourne, who will be running in Electoral District #10 – Wheeland and West Caicos; and former chief minister and veteran Norman Saunders, Electoral District #3 – South Caicos. Seated from left: Amanda Missick, Electoral District #7 – Cheshire Hall and Richmond Hill; Akierra Missick - Electoral District #5 - Leeward; and Porsha Stubbs-Smith, Electoral District #6 – The Bight. Missing is Washington Misick, who was said to have involved in a freak accident while on the campaign trail and was not available for presentation.
