Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands – Monday, 20th January 2014 – American Supermodel Sessilee Lopez will grace the catwalk of the premiere fashion, design and style event of Turks and Caicos Islands. With her signature strut, physical attributes and fame, Sessilee adds to Turks and Caicos Islands Fashion Week 2014 heated anticipation and buzz.

Sessilee Lopez has Dominican and Portuguese background and her modeling career started in 2004 when she signed with IMG Models. Her runway debut was at the Vivienne Tam and Daryl K Fall 2004 shows. In 2007 Sessilee switched representation to Major Model Management Worldwide and since then she has walked for Shiatzy Chen, Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana, Jean Paul Gaultier, Karl Lagerfeld, Marc Jacobs, Lanvin, Hermès and numerous other established fashion houses.

Sessilee has appeared in editorials for American, Italian, French, Japanese, and German Vogue, V Magazine, W Magazine, Allure, i-D, Dazed & Confused, Marie Claire, Numéro, Swedish, American, and French Elle, and Spanish and American Harper's Bazaar to name a few. She has signed contracts with Benetton and ckOne and appeared in advertising campaigns for Gap Jeans, Tommy Hilfiger, Barneys New York, GAP, Benetton, ckOne, Macy's, Levi's, Saks Fifth Avenue, DKNY, Nordstrom, Adidas, H&M, H by Halston, and Uniqlo.

One of Sessilee’s biggest accomplishments is appearing in Vogue magazines and gracing one of the four covers of its "All Black" issue, while Naomi Campbell, Liya Kebede and Jourdan Dunn graced the alternative ones. In September 2009, Lopez appeared alongside fellow models Arlenis Sosa, Chanel Iman, and Jourdan Dunn on the cover of I-D magazine and she has appeared in the 2008 and 2009 Victoria's Secret Fashion Shows.

Turks and Caicos Islands Fashion Week 2014 will take place March 26th – 29th with a Fashion Cocktail Party on Friday, March 28th and a Designers’ Grand Runway Fashion Show to be hosted by America's Next Top Model Cycle 9 and Cycle 17 All-Star Bianca Golden on Saturday, March 29th at Brayton Hall, Providenciales. Other TCIFW 2014 events leading up to the grand finale will soon be announced.
