Freeport, Bahamas - Bahamian resident Georgina Prineppi (aged 21) has celebrated the publication and release of her first book. Reconciliation, a work of Christian fiction, has been published by Crosslink Publishing, and is available in bookstores in the US, the Bahamas and through Amazon.com.

Set in tenth-century Northumbria, Reconciliation follows the story of Isla and James, childhood friends who are forced to grapple with their broken relationship after betrayal and political circumstances divide them. As they deal with the issues that have estranged them, James and Isla must learn the meaning of forgiveness, repentance and faith – their lives could depend upon it.

Fellow Bahamian resident and director of Turtle Back Publishing, Allie McPhail, says of the book: “Georgina Prineppi focuses beautifully on the emotional and spiritual turmoil inevitably met when one wrestles through faith to both find and give forgiveness.”

Georgina began writing stories about God and her Christian faith in her early teens, but Reconciliation is her first published work. She firmly believes that good writers must be good readers, and she traces her love of writing to her passion for reading. She says “there is nothing as beautiful as the love of God in Christ, and there is no better subject for a book than God’s unfailing love and forgiveness.”

Georgina considers herself blessed to have spent her childhood in Grand Bahama and calls the Bahamas her home. She is currently studying for her Master’s Degree in Musicology at the University of Miami.

Reconciliation has been published by Crosslink Publishing, a traditional publishing house that is located in Rapid City, South Dakota. It is a family-owned firm and publishes a wide variety of Christian materials, from Bible studies to inspirational fiction.
