TORONTO, Canada - The group known as the Bahamian Junkanoo Legends was formed in Canada with the desire to give fellow Bahamians a taste of being back home through Junkanoo.

The group performed for Black History Month at the Royal Ontario Museum during an event called, Friday Night Live and happens a few times a year but this year and last they brought in February with an island theme.

The program event said, "Legends is a stellar group of renowned local and international dancers and musicians who have perfected hypnotic rhythms on a cacophony of goatskin drums, cowbells, whistles and horns. Imaginative costume designs compliment this spectacle to weave their own special magic with beautifully coloured crepe paper and cardboard."
