Max Taylor has appeared alongside iconic Bahamian artists Amos Ferguson, Brent Malone, Antonius Roberts, Eddie Minnis and other eminent artist in  the documentary, “Artists of the Bahamas.” During the opening Maxwell Taylor will be demonstrating his woodcut technique.  Mr. Taylor will also be conducting a session during the day (Saturday) from 2 -3:30 pm for students and interested persons.

Claudette Dean is an established artist well-known for her whimsical striking oil paintings.  She occasionally uses clay, encaustics and mixed media. Her work is a part of the country’s permanent national art collection and she has  been honoured by the Commonwealth of the Bahamas for her outstanding  achievements in fine arts.  Claudette’s work is also a part of the Dawn Davies collection featured in the book “Love  and Responsibility” which was  recently  presented to the Pope by the Prime Minister of the Bahamas on an official state visit to the Vatican
