Political satire, "Keeping Up with the Boujees" on at the Regency Theatre

Freeport, Bahamas –SisBro Productions; the event planning company that brought you the Bahamian Icon Nominated play’s "Sarah's Wedding" and "New Rules of Sex and Dating"will be hosting their third stage production on June 9-11th, 2017at the Regency Theater.

Keeping Up with the Boujees is written and produced by Bahamian playwright Kerel Pinder and directed by Kenton Pinder, under the mentorship of Gloria McGlone. Keeping up with the Boujeesis a political satire weaved through a scandalous family drama. This production will take audiences on the journey of a Boujee Bahamian family who quickly learn that appearances are much harder to keep when their dad decides to run for a political seat! Each character brings an interesting twist to the overall story, leaving audience members on the constant edge of their seat!

Keeping up with the Boujees has cast some of Grand Bahamas’ top actors and actresses and will provide them with the opportunity to showcase and learn more about the art of acting and entertainment. Lead cast members include Kenrick Blatch, Shauna Joseph, Jillian Lightbourne, Olivia Dorsett, Alfred Anderson and Quincy Gordon. The Bowen Family will keep you entertained and will definitely bring the shock value to ‘Keeping Up with the Boujees.’ Other cast members are Rosetta Cartwright, Trevor Trent Simmons, Remardo Russell, Donovon Munroe, Reginald Simmons, Tempestt Bullard, Ontario Richardson, Desiree Joseph, Dawn Rolle, Drew Hepburn, Chivvaun Smith, Georgina Moss, Audenique Edden, Preston Knowles, Denise Degregory, Tevin Bartlett, Osbourne Cooper, Corey Higgs and Blair.

All theater lovers are invited to attend this event, as Keeping up with the Boujees is the perfect dramedy; filled with hilarious characters and jaw-dropping drama that you definitely don’t want to miss! Pinder who is no stranger to the stage is super excited about the show along with co- producer, Alfred Anderson-Lewis.

Keeping up with the Boujees is $20 in advance at $25 at the Door. Friday, June 9th has an Opening night VIP option at $40; this includes complimentary wine, h'orderves, and reserved seating. Doors open at 7 p.m. for our VIP on Friday. The show will begin promptly at 8.p.m on Friday, June 9th– Saturday, June 10th and at 4 p.m. sharp on Sunday, June 11th, 2017.
