The Anglican Chorale & Friends – Variety Concert “Celebrating The Joy Of Music”

Nassau, Bahamas - Under the patronage of The Right Rev’d Laish Boyd, Sr. and Mrs. Boyd The Anglican Chorale and Friends will present a variety concert: “Celebrating the Joy of Music” at Christ Church Cathedral, George Street on Friday, 25th July, 2014, commencing at 8:00 p.m.

In addition to The Anglican Chorale featured performers will include The Bahamas Christian Chorale (conducted by Darville “Sonny” Walkine), The Highgrove Singers (conducted by Adrian Archer), The Bel-Canto Singers (conducted by Eldridge McPhee), The Roman Catholic Diocesan Chorale (conducted by Demetrius Delancy), and solo and instrumental performances by Karrington McKenzie, Colyn Major, Danielle Dorsett, Ashley Minnis, Giovanni Clarke and Brian Saunders. There will be music of all genres that will appeal to all tastes – classical, gospel, contemporary and Negro spirituals. So come out and let’s celebrate.

Tickets at $20 are on sale at Logos Book Store, Harbour Bay (Tel: 394-7040) and St. Agnes Church Office, Blue Hill road (Tel: 325-2640) or from Anglican Chorale members. Part proceeds are in aid of the restoration of Family Island churches.
