The Hub to screen, "Andros: Living off the Land and Sea", February 27th

Nassau Premiere of Award Winning Andros Documentary          

Nassau, Bahamas - As a part of The Hub's Bahamian Film Night series, the documentary Andros: Living off the Land and Sea will premiere in Nassau at the HUB on Monday, February 27th at 7 pm. The documentary looks at the natural resources of Andros, from crabbing to bone fishing to fresh water, the people who live there, and the challenges they face moving forward.

The film was created by Abaco based Loggerhead Productions for The Nature Conservancy. It won the Freedom of Independents Award at the Ft. Lauderdale Film Festival in 2011. Director Matthew McCoy will be there to introduce the film and answer any questions from the audience.

The evening will also include several shorts from Conch Salad TV (www.conchsaladtv.com) a website that features short videos about The Bahamas.  Tickets are a $5 donation to The HUB, free popcorn is included.
