Nassau, Bahamas - The Antique Auto Club of the Bahamas was formed in Nassau on July 26, 1987 with an initial six members, those being Richard Chestnut, Lenny Brozozog, Don Aranha, Alonzo Rolle, Murray Forde and Charles Johnson.

All vehicles older than twenty years old are allowed entry to the club. Membership has grown steadily over the years and presently stands at over 50. New members are always welcomed.

The Club holds an Annual Car Show and Steak-out in the middle of March every year. This year 51 cars and trucks were present plus 7 motorcycles. This year’s show commemorated one of the three founding members of our club, Mr. Charles Johnson, who sadly passed away last year.

While no official numbers are kept, this year it is estimated that some 2,500 to 3,000 people (residents and visitors alike) visited the show over the course of the day.

The video was shot over two trips to Nassau, completing filming in May of this year. The DVD features twelve of the Club’s members and vehicles, and the members themselves telling the story of their cars.

Vehicles include a Ford Mustang, two different Chevy Corvettes, a 1940 Ford Coupe, a couple of Chevy pick-ups and more.  It also includes footage filmed at the annual Eastern Community Summer Fair.
