Freeport, Bahamas - For some this announcement may come as no surprise that Chelsea R. Blues has published a poetry book. Known for her dramatics, those that know her might say, “it's to be expected.”

Born in Grand Bahama she grew up between the Turks & Caicos and Nassau and
is a graduate of St. Andrews International School in Nassau where she focused her attention on drama. She has been writing poetry for most of her teen years and has shared some of her prose on her Facebook page as well as in various spoken word forums.

After high school she made her way to England where she enrolled in the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama where she is looking to receive a Bachelors Degree in Theatre Practice: Performance Arts next year.

This poetry book, “2014=7” has been published by local publishing company, Media Unlimited, and is in three parts and talks about the journey to self love from Reminiscing, Self Hate to Self Love.

“I am proud of myself for not just accomplishing to write the book, but sharing it with the world,” said Chelsea.

She has already made quite a few sales online and looks forward having a formal launch in Grand Bahama when she returns, and another in Nassau.

At the age of 20, Chelsea says she hopes to publish more, while she also hones her writing skills on her blog called “In the Mind of a Psycho Goddess.”

Her passion is singing and she has a number of cover songs on her Youtube Channel and Soundcloud; as well as enjoys acting which she has been doing since “Santa Clause is Coming to Town” at the age of 3 at Freeport's Regency Theatre.

This talented young lady is the daughter of proud father, Ernie Blues who presently lives in Nassau.
