Neob is traditional sci-fi – a planet, a dominant force, an intruder and a large supporting cast. When an Andentian lands on planet Neob he is not expecting the presence of a Taro, Menor, to get in the way of ownership. But it’s not only Menor he will have to contend.

Victoria lives and works on the beautiful Island of Grand Bahama. She grew up in a single parent home as the youngest of eight children. When she wasn't climbing trees and squabbling with her siblings she spent her time helping out in the farm, lying on the floor with her sketch pad or reading until she fell asleep. Her love of the written word has remained with her to this day and now when she isn't working she enjoys spending time with family and putting to paper her next adventure.

She explains how the idea for the book title came about: "I was sitting one day just doodling on a piece of paper and started drawing stick men, when on a whim I began to write a story. 'Neob' is the third word in this book and although it seemed a weird name for a planet even to me, it just stuck and I couldn't get it out of my head no matter how hard I tried. "

For the planet Neob and its oldest and perhaps first inhabitant the Taro Menor the world is harmonious with all conflicts between species handled and pacified. That is until the arrival of a strange and threatening creature whose ship holds a cargo of unfortunates - humans. It is inevitable that the newcomer Thylin, an Adenetian, and the Taro Menor will cross paths. What is not inevitable is the outcome. Victoria Wilchcombe creates conflict on an alien world that perhaps might only be concluded by the weakest of the three species - but what has Thylin been doing to the humans, and how will that affect their future?
