New Providence author releases new book, "Reflections"

Nassau, The Bahamas - Janet Hutcheson has recently published her first book entitled “Reflections.” and is hosting a book launch, Sunday, November 22nd , 2015 12:30 at Christ Community Church. The book is a compilation of heartfelt and compelling poems and anecdotes based on Ms. Hutcheson’s life experiences and family relationships. It also features a special tribute section penned in part by her sister Coralee Jane Hutcheson.

Ms. Hutcheson was born and raised on the island of New Providence and was educated at Prairie View A & M University. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in social work and minor in psychology. She is a trained social worker and has worked for the Bahamas Government for the past 37 years in various capacities such as teacher, guidance counselor, physical education instructor, force insurance officer at the Royal Bahamas Police Force and the Ministry of National Security for 13 years and at the Passport Office and Parliamentary Registration Departments. She has also served as a corporal in the Police Reserves. She has two beautiful daughters, Melissa Anne and Leeia Michelle.
