Freeport, Grand Bahama Island -  BAHARI is back, and once again the popular fashion line that made its debut for Independence is turning heads.  As promised, the Fall lineup goes beyond the signature t-shirts which were an instant success amongst consumers.  Bold, vibrant colours and classic Bahamian symbols are still the central theme, but this time they’re available as shirts, dresses, rompers, and yes, even linen shirts.

“July was phenomenal.  Our t-shirts literally sold out almost immediately,” said Bahari’s CEO and Creative Director-Men’s, Morgan Fernander.  Whether online, or in stores, local residents and even persons overseas fully supported Bahari’s entrance onto the local fashion scene, with patrons proudly wearing the definitive look at numerous Independence events throughout the islands.  Even after Independence, persons all over the country can still be spotted wearing BAHARI.

Riding on the success of the now iconic Independence collection, Bahari’s Fall line remains true to the stylish and unique brand that discerning consumers have come to expect.  Various apparel in a kaleidoscope of colours showcase hues of aqua, gold, black, brown, blue and bright sunshine yellow.  Soft, comfortable fabrics and stylish linen, simple lines, quality stitching and the signature Bahari leather and metal label, all add to the appeal.

“Since July, we’ve been manufacturing and designing this Fall collection.  We went through multiple sample approvals and revisions to ensure that this collection lived up to consumer expectations.  We wanted to make ensure that it was perfect,” said Bennae Beneby, Creative Director for Bahari women’s division.

BAHARI STEPS OUT FOR THE HOLIDAYS: The new fashion line once again features the signature Bahari look of Bahamian emblems and symbols in stunningly regal colours whilst remaining true to the superior fabric selection and attention to detail that the budding fashion house has already become known for. (Models: Miss World Bahamas and Miss Universe Bahamas)

The unique name BAHARI pays homage to the earlier settlers of these islands, the Lucayan Indians, whose linguistic term “bajari” meant a title of high regard and distinction.  “With this in mind, we went for a regal look for our latest designs,” Fernander revealed.  “Our goal was to create a collection that reflected Bahamian life and culture but retained an international appeal.  We wanted to create a collection that consumers could wear outside of Independence and that could stand up against any other brand, especially as they make their social rounds this season.  I think we’ve accomplished that!”

With the advent of this festive period, Bahari’s latest clothing line is sure to be a stunner whether at the office party or an intimate holiday gathering.  Moreover, Bahari’s commitment to producing very limited quantities of each design, ensures exclusivity in taste and style to those who wear it.

Fall in love with Bahari all over again at Bahari Bahamas in the Circle Mall,  Freeport, YNG on Rosetta Street, Nassau, or online at www.shopbahari.com. With sizes ranging from small to 3XL, Bahari offers a wide selection to choose from for men and women.
