Nassau, Bahamas - The annual high-voltage Fashion for Foundation Benefit Show in aid of the Ranfurly Homes for Children is set for this Sunday, June 28th and organizers are excited about this year's fashion lineup to feature collections by Cardell McClam, Harl Taylor BAG, Ria Georgina, Leah Eneas, DKLYPSE Swimsuits, a special clothing collection by POJ Designs and many others.

Cardell McClam is back for a second year and has always had a natural inclination to the arts as he’s been designing since Junior High School. His 2015 collection, Cardell McClam, tells a story about his life and his personal experiences. According to Cardell he continues to partner with the Fashion for Foundation Benefit because “it is a worthy cause…it’s a way I can offer my service to raise funds for children that need it, its a little way I help and give back.”

Keesha Pratt has been in the straw industry since the age of 8 as she has always had an eye for things that were “unique and different.” This creative designer considers her wok “ordinary to extraordinary” as she specializes in all things Bahamian, from designing straw bags to straw slippers and hand stitching shoes, tennis, and even boots. She is the CEO and Senior Designer of Estre’jha Designs formally known has Keesha’s Creations. This year Keesha presents a line of goatskin and wool incorporated in straw. According to Keesha “I am pleased to be showcased at such a grand event. It’s an awesome opportunity to be involved in a charitable organization that promotes and showcases Bahamian designers at their best.”

Kristen Cartwright is the CEO and Founder of DKLYPSE designs and showcases for a second time at the Fashion for Foundation Benefit Show. This designer has affluently turned a pastime into a passion and has worked very hard to see her dreams become reality. Kristen’s line has evolved from swimsuits for all sizes to “night out dresses and male shirts.” Her 2015 collection which she recently débuted included swimsuits for young girls, male tank tops and swim trunks. Kristen partners with the Fashion for Foundation Benefit for a second year because according to her “I am able to do what I love and meet incredible people along the way…and it’s a joy to be able to do what we love as a team for an awesome cause.”

The F4F Benefit is proudly sponsored by The Water & Sewerage Cooperation, BTC, Colombian Emeralds International, AmarKai Designs, thebahamasweekly.com, MOJOS and MOSS Computers, with live performances by Willis Knowles from Willis and The Illest Reggae Band. While the lights go up and the designers get set, the Bahamas must wait in anticipation for the show which is set for June 28th, 2015 at the British Colonial Hilton.
