Nassau, Bahamas - With the most exotic, chiselled features and a body to match, Ajayi Ballentine Clarke...a.k.a. "AJ" stole the audience and judge's hearts at the “Walk Off” runway competition on on December 18th, 2011 .

Ajayi has been a model with PTG Modeling Agency since October 2009.   Since then, he has been working and making money in the local modelling industry on photo shoots/campaigns, promotional events and also as a runway model in many local shows including the award-winning “Islands of the World” Fashion Week and “Fashion for a Cause”.

His recent victory in the “Walk Off” Competition has gained him more exposure and a chance at more experience in the industry, which is what he was seeking.

Ajayi says, “I entered the competition for the experience and exposure.  Also, like many other events, I saw this one also as an opportunity to further myself in modeling.”

When asked what he wants to gain in the modelling industry, he responded that , “I hope to gain more knowledge as to what it takes to succeed in more competitions and in modeling generally, and to be an inspiration to other aspiring male models.”

Ajayi is still basking in his victory which he says was a great experience and a thrill because the majority of the contestants were familiar faces.  He says that it is always a treat to work alongside friends.

Ajayi has been modeling for about 3 years and started by attending small fashion shows for fun while in high school  (Doris Johnson) and learning from his peers.

AJ is not only exceptionally good looking but also very ambitious and smart! He plans to obtain a degree in Nursing and is also in the process of working towards signing a modeling contract in New York.   He is currently enrolled at The College of The Bahamas, majoring in Nursing and working with his local agent, Pia Rolle of PTG Modeling Agency towards his goal of a NYC modeling Contract.

Ajayi enjoys drawing, playing the piano, free-styling (rapping), dancing and meeting new people. He is thankful to God and all that have assisted him in the industry so far. These people include Omar Francis, Kendrick Kemp and Pia Rolle who have all assisted him and are still assisting him in his road to greatness and success.

Ajayi says that his constant focus is simply to continue to work hard towards the realization of his dreams.
