Nassau, The Bahamas - Today, producers of the highly anticipated emerging fashion designers and visual artist showcase
Fash|Art,
officially launches the group photo of the participants and the
hostess; fashionista and blogger Ms. Julliet Johnson, for the upcoming
event to be held on
November 5th , 2011 at Doongalik Studios, Village
Road North.
“For
our inaugural event, we are pleased to welcome on board 16 of The
Bahamas most promising individuals in the art and fashion world”, says
the event’s producer, Kedar Clarke. “Most of them came as a surprise to
their friends who had no idea of the extent of their talents. I want
Fash|Art to be the premier platform for unknown and emerging artist and
designers around The Bahamas”.

Winners
in the categories of fashion and art will receive awards that pay
homage to the late Harl Taylor and Jackson Burnside, both of whom have
become synonymous with their talents, which made them highly respected
worldwide.
Additionally, winners will take a $500 monetary grant, an HP
Touch Pad courtesy of Custom Computers and other career launching
incentives . The main event “Fash|Art 2011” will feature an art exhibit,
cocktail lounge, trunkshow and a runway showcase.
