Nassau, Bahamas - Young Bahamian stylist, Shannon Collie lost two family members to cancer in the span of two years. This inspired him to create "Fashion Beats Cancer" a charity fashion show for Cancer Society of The Bahamas which was held on November 14th, 2015 at Mario's Bowling and Entertainment Palace. "It was definitely a show to remember, for myself, the models and the survivors that were present," said Collie. "It was my first fashion show to showcase my work as a stylist and I am indeed proud for creating another pathway in my career," and thanked The Cancer Society, his sponsors, the designers, team members, The Face Of The Brand, models, photographers, and cancer survivors for making the show a success. The event is to be an annual one, and the stylist said, "We look forward to having the show next year, and it being bigger and better."
