Fashion For A Cause jumps into Street Wear

Nassau, Bahamas - This year's installment of Fashion For A Cause on March 29th brought together Bahamian designers, clothing stores, stylists, makeup and hairstylists focused on street wear for 2015 spring / summer. Held at Ibiza nightclub the event featured fashion forward brands for one 'CAUSE', to raise funds for The Bahamas AIDS Foundation and their continuous effort to bring awareness to all Bahamians. 

This year's designers were
Keywonah Beneby - The Monarchy Collection; David Rolle; Harl Taylor BAG,  Sports Center - Street Wear Collection; and Parke & Ronen - Spring Collection.

The event also showcased the launch of Kemp's new magazine, THE FASHION PROJECT, which was created to provide another platform for fashion forward companies/individuals to advertise their brand; and support The Bahamas AIDS Foundation and the efforts of FFC.

"The FASHION FOR A CAUSE Team would like to thank our magazine patrons," said FFC founder, Kendrick Kemp, "such as The Sports Center, Mario's Bowling & Entertainment PalaceFashion Hall, The Bahamas AIDS Foundation, Executive Printers, Lowe's Wholesale, The Daily Grind, Sexy & Sassy but Classy Boutique,  Pico Lapel, MMTS Talent Showcase, Brass & Leather, John's Shoes-Accessories & Fast Fashion, Calypso Kids Collection, Melissa Sears, Bambu Late Night Dance Club & Bar and The Ministry of Tourism. A big thank you to our magazine photographers Aaron Davis, Shawn Hanna and Barry Williams."

The aim of Fashion For A Cause is to make a change for the better by embodying the motto of LIVE. LOVE. CARE.  In the weeks leading up to the show Kemp and his team promoted the importance of safe sex, getting HIV/AIDS  tested as well as promoted the invaluable work of The Bahamas AIDS Foundation.
