Freeport, Bahamas - There's a new designer clothing boutique in Grand Bahama Island. The Hardour Collection boutique located in the Port Lucaya Marketplace opened its doors this month and promises to offer a shopping experience unlike any other in the island.

An experience shopping at Hardour, which features the Hardour Collection, includes a glass of champagne with each purchase and a level of customer service that is unmatched via our 'style concierge'.

"My aim is to bring LA or NYC to Grand Bahama," said designer Anthea Bullard who returned home to Freeport in 2010 after choosing to pursue fashion design in 2004 in Los Angeles at the Santa Monica College.

The boutique carries exclusively the Hardour Collection line for both men and women and everything is designed solely by designer Anthea. The line consists of ready-to-wear and haute couture garments. Her pieces consist primarily of gowns and cocktail dresses for women and suits and dress shirts for men. This past year she launched her signature t-shirts which are very popular.

Bullard said she wanted an authentic boutique atmosphere and design. Everything in the store is one of a kind and can be altered to fit any individual.

Each month the store showcases a featured piece. This month's piece is a multi colored sequined gown inspired by the festivities of New Year's Eve.

The Hardour boutique is located directly across from both Cappuccinos and Giovannis Italian restaurants, and is open Mondays through Thursdays, 4pm - 10pm. Fridays and Saturdays from 12pm - 10pm.
Closed on Sundays, except Christmas holidays
