Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands; Wednesday, July 17th 2013 – The countdown is on! Government Officials, dignitaries, special guests, media houses and fashion lovers at large are eagerly anticipating the debut of the fashion label of the Turks and Caicos Islands’ Couture 2013-14 Collection.

On July 27th, the Regent Palms Resort will see a posh evening of fashion, fun and luxury as it hosts Saint George Fashion House Fashion Show and Veuve Clicquot Party.

The spectacle labeled ‘An Evening of Fashion and Luxury in Paradise’ will be hosted by Bianca Harvey-Joseph and Bahamas’ Veteran Journalist Jerome Sawyer. The evening will offer fine wining and dining and feature live entertainment, guest models, a special guest designer showcase by Haiti’s Top Designer Miko Guillaume and the debut of Saint George Fashion House 2013-14 Couture Collection sponsored by Turks and Caicos Islands’ telecommunications giant Digicel, in the Regent Palms Resort’s Messel Ballroom.

“Saint George Fashion House’s Couture 2013-14 Collection is highly exclusive and will showcase the progression of the brand since its 2011 New York launch. Specializing in providing well-tailored garments with a focus on stellar craftsmanship and fit, the garments are all made from high-quality fabrics and sewn with extreme attention to detail and finish.”

“The production process was a bit time-consuming as a lot of hand-executed techniques were applied; mostly beading and ruching. The collection is vivacious and comprise of cocktail, evening and wedding gowns exuding a spirit of sophistication, elegance and grace, inspired by the natural beauty of the Turks and Caicos Islands. All of the runway looks will be styled with jewels from Tremm Jocale and shoes of Fetish TCI” said SGFH’s Proprietor and Principal Designer Kazz Forbes.

Expressing pride in collaborating with SGFH as a premier partner, Digicel TCI’s Marketing Director Ava Kerr-Fulford said, “We (Digicel TCI) have watched Kazz Forbes grow, develop and evolved as a fashion designer and we are very pleased to come onboard with him in this new aspect of his career in fashion design sponsoring his collection on a whole.

“Digicel recently rebranded as ‘Be Extraordinary’; that is our new tagline and I think that Kazz Forbes really embodies that ‘Be Extraordinary’ tagline, so we are more than happy to jump onboard to support him”.

The evening will be topped off with a Veuve Clicquot Party powered by The Wine Cellar. “Veuve Clicquot actually has a long-standing promotional history with doing events such as these where they do the Veuve Clicquot theme and everything just falls in place. As one of the number one brands of champagnes in the world, I thought it would be quite a success to use Veuve Clicquot”, said Desmond Williams of The Wine Cellar.

“It feels very good, we are excited. The Wine Cellar has always taken pride in supporting local talent and Saint George Fashion House has proven itself time and time again as a force to be reckoned with”.
