Nassau jetski operator shot at Arawak Cay

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are seeking the public’s assistance in solving a shooting incident that has left a jet-ski operator detained in hospital on Saturday 6th December 2014.

According to reports, around 1:00pm, a male jet-ski operator was targeted and shot in the leg by two unknown assailants armed with a handgun in the area of the Old Customs warehouse building, Arawak Cay.

The man was taken to hospital where he is detained in stable condition.

Investigations are ongoing.

POLICE are appealing to anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of wanted persons or any information about crimes and other illegal activities in their communities, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) (New Providence) or 1-242-300-8476 (Family Islands) or the nearest Police Station.
