Nassau, Bahamas - BTC CEO Geoff Houston addresses a packed Rotary Club of East Nassau meeting Friday as he begins to make the rounds just over a month after taking the reins of the newly-privatized telecommunications company. While more improvements are expected to be announced soon, the new BTC has already enjoyed a number of achievements including signing a major deal with Sandals resorts in New Providence and Exuma, creating a single number call centre to handle all company-related business, and launching its restructuring, offering voluntary separation packages to help contain operating costs and lower rates.
