Nassau, Bahamas - Tis the season to be jolly, and what better way to kick off the Christmas season than with some fun and laughter.

Local comedians Mark Bethel and Kwiesi Miller will be bringing some extra holiday joy to Nassau this Tuesday wit
h the first ever Charity Comedy Celebration Show at pirates Bar & Grill. As well as entertainment from home grown talent, Mark and Kwiesi will also be joined by two special-guest International comedians to be announced on the night.

‘We’re really excited to be able to launch this event. We love making people laugh so we couldn’t think of anything better than being able to combine that with helping out a local charity over the holiday season. We’re working with Rotary East Nassau to ensure that the money raised goes to a deserving cause’ said Mark

There are three good causes hoping to benefit from this event: The Bahamas Association for the Physically Disabled, The Violets are Blue Project and A merit-based Academic Scholarship for Bahamian students. The lucky benefactor will be chosen by the winner of special raffle at the end of the evening, and will receive 20% of the money raised in ticket sales.

This show will also be a chance for the island to bid a fond farewell to local comedian Mark Bethel of Jokers Wild fame, as he leaves The Bahamas to embark on a tour of the US in a quest to kick start his career and conquer next year’s season of NBCs ‘Next Comic Standing’.

Tickets are available directly from Mark or from Rotary East and are $25 each including a free drink.
