Nassau, Bahamas - The Rotary Club of Nassau Sunrise welcomed the newly appointed Minister of State for Legal Affairs, The Honourable Elsworth Johnson to deliver remarks at their meeting on May 24th, 2017 at the British Colonial Hilton. Minister Johnson’s inspiring presentation focused on his hope for the future of the Bahamas and shared his appreciation for the talent and potential of young Bahamians and the need to continue to be inclusive and supportive.

The final meetings leading up to the close of our year will reiterate the message and spirit of the Rotary Club of Nassau Sunrise and celebrate the accomplishments of our club and its members. We were delighted by Min. Johnson’s honesty and candor as he illustrated how the Rotary has supported him in ways he may not have anticipated and how it even further shaped his positive view of the organization. It was an effective way to impress the relevancy and importance of the organization on young people, and acknowledge and encourage them as the driving force of the future. Minister Johnson was presented with the District Award in gratitude of the effort he invested with the Interactors.

The Club will feature a series of guest speakers in the upcoming meetings as it wraps up its 2016\2017 year. Visit our Facebook page for more information.
