NASSAU, The Bahamas –
This past weekend, the Rotary and Rotaract Clubs of
East Nassau played in their annual softball match in a show of good
sportsmanship and to raise funds for the Rotary Foundation. Rotaract, whose
members are thirty years old and younger, handily won the game, beating the
older Rotarians by 15 runs after six innings.
“We really play the game to have fun. In the end,
we raise funds for the Rotary Foundation and it’s the community that wins,”
said Philip Cumming, President of the Rotary Club of East Nassau. The game raised $500 for the Rotary
Foundation.
