Google's annual year in review Zeitgeist chart for 2013 has the Bahamas at the top for destination wedding locations in 2013.

The review which revealed the most searched destination wedding location by Americans has the Bahamas 2nd to Mexico as the hot spot for those desiring a warm weather destination wedding.

Google the world's most popular search engine with 71% of the global search market share divide the data in its Zeitgeist chart into two kinds of list.

The first reflects the "trending" destinations -- those that show the greatest growth in searches when compared to last year - while the second shows rankings of topics with the largest total search volumes.

The Bahamas was on the list for U.S searches for destination wedding locations (trending) which means that 2013 was significantly better than 2012 and indicating that 2014 could be an even better year for Bahamas Destination weddings.

Google’s search found that interest in the Bahamas for destination weddings was strongest for expecting brides and grooms in Florida, New Jersey, Georgia, South Carolina and New York.
