Nassau, Bahamas - Opposition Leader Hon. Dr. Hubert A. Minnis led members of his Parliamentary Team on a visit to the Straw Market on Bay Street on Wednesday, February 10th, 2016.
The visit came in response to complaints made by Straw Vendors that they were being unfairly treated. The team including FNM Deputy Leader, Peter Turnquest, Hubert Chipman, Richard Lightbourn and Theo Neilly, and Renward Wells, walked throughout the Market chatted with Straw Vendors and listened to their concerns.
Vendors were excited by the visit and spoke candidly to the team.
