Lower Bogue, Eleuthera - PLPs gathered in Lower Bogue, Eleuthera last evening in what supposed to be a branch opening. However, by 8pm it looked as if everyone on the island had descended on the rally site.

Party Leader Perry Christie and Deputy Philip Brave Davis joined residents in North Eleuthera for the official opening of the constituency office on the island.

Crowds packed the settlement, turning the planned opening into a massive family island rally.

PLP chiefs Perry Christie and Philip Brave Davis ignited the crowd as Team PLP Eleuthera was introduced.

Christie assured the already excited community that his new generation of leaders shall form the next government of the Bahamas and assured them that when elected they will put Bahamians First.

While on Grand Bahama as he unveiled his plans for that island, Mr. Christie called on Bahamians, using the familiar theme by Sir Lynden, to “Step Now” as he gears up his team to begin the transition of government and put Bahamians back to work.

Cat Island, Rum Cay and San Salvador MP, Philip Brave Davis, again reminded the crowd that it is time to register. He urged Eleutherans, “It is time to register. Do it first thing Monday morning if you haven't already.

“Gather your loved ones and take them to local commissioner’s office and get them ready.”

Davis told the crowd Bahamians are sick and tired of crime, unemployment and the bad economy, which were all poorly managed by the FNM.

He noted that that country has had enough of the FNM and added that the time has come to elect a PLP government that will turn the country in the right direction.
