Nassau, NP, Bahamas 2nd January 2016-The Free National Movement is outraged about the completely false assertion that the Leader of the Opposition sort to expel four Members of Parliament from the Party for failing to abide by the wishes of the Executive and Council to refrain from discussing Party matters publicly.

During the Executive Committee meeting last evening the leader, Dr. Hubert Minnis, led the discussion about the need for team cohesion and steps being taken to forge greater Party unity. At no point did the leader or members of the Executive engage in any form of discussion about disciplining any Member of Parliament or Senator.  No issue or proposal of expulsion, suspension or any disciplinary action was suggested by anyone at anytime during the meeting. The meeting concluded with the Executive reaffirming its earlier call to end public discussion about sensitive Party matters.

Anyone insinuating or stating anything to the contrary is being deliberately deceptive and dishonest.
