The Free National Movement is actively investigating the status of at least 70 voters who were registered in Elizabeth , with the assistance of PLP operatives, on the last few days of voter registration before the by-election was called, and who do not reside in the Elizabeth Constituency.

These unlawfully registered voters will be fully contested and evidence presented to challenge their purported right to vote on election day.

No amount of bombastic and name-calling press conferences from the PLP will prevent the FNM from ensuring that the law is followed and that only duly qualified residents of the Elizabeth Constituency are permitted to vote.
