Memorial Service held for Former Students of Anatol Rodgers

Administrators, students and teachers of Anatol Rodgers Senior High
School along with family and representatives of the neighbouring
religious community remembered three former students of the school
during a special Memorial Service held in their honour.
students, Leo Dorcely, Cornell Edward and Dustin Ranger, all lost their
lives within the past three weeks. Dorcely was killed in a hit and run
accident, Cornell Edwards allegedly committed suicide and Dustin Ranger
lost his life in an alleged drowning incident...

to the European Union, Her Excellency Maria A. O'Brien presented Letters
of Credence formally accrediting her as the Ambassador of the
Commonwealth of The Bahamas to the European Union on Tuesday, 16 July,
2019. The Letters of Credence were presented to His Excellency Mr.
Donald Tusk, President of the European Council, at Europa Building,
Brussels, Belgium. The President of the Council also accepted the

teens from North Andros and New Providence. This year the camp focused
on the impact of climate change on: agriculture, marine resources and
communities. To gain a better understanding of the unique challenges
brought about by climate change in the Bahamas, participants visited
Miss Marshall’s Yard in Red Bays to understand the impact of forest
fires on the community’s straw handcrafts; shorter growing seasons for
common crops such as cabbages and tomatoes; as well as the decreasing
