NASSAU, The Bahamas - The 41st Regional Conference of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association, the Caribbean, Americas and Atlantic Region Opening Ceremonies took place July 25, 2016 at Atlantis, Paradise Island.  Prime Minister and Minister of Finance the Rt. Hon. Perry Christie gave the Opening Address.  Other speakers included the Leader of the Opposition the Hon. Hubert Minnis, Government Ministers, and the Speaker of the House of Assembly.  Secretary General of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association Akbar Khan addressed the gathering.  The convention is being held July 22-30.  (BIS Photos/Raymond A.
