Her Excellency Dame Marguerite Pindling, Governor General of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas; the Rt. Hon. Perry G Christie, Prime Minister; Philip Davis, Deputy Prime Minster, and Minister of Works and Urban Development; and the Hon. Dr. Bernard Nottage, Minister of National Security along with other heads of Government Officials and their spouses watch the 42nd Independence Celebrations Beat Retreat.

NASSAU, The Bahamas -- The Beat Retreat to Celebrate the 42nd Anniversary of Independence was held on Sunday, July 5.  Photos show the Governor General, the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Security and other Government Officials and their spouses enjoying the display by the armed forces in Rawson and Parliament Squares.  (BIS Photos/Letisha Henderson)
