NASSAU, The Bahamas -- From a group of some 744 applicants, The Bahamas Department of Correctional Services (BDCS) held its Signing On Ceremony for 55 persons in their "A" Squad 2018 at the Correctional Training Institute on the BDCS Compound, on July 9, 2018.  Acting Commissioner of Correctional Services Mrs. Bernadette Murray and Deputy Commissioner and Training Advisory Board Chairman Mr. Doan Cleare brought remarks.  More than 600 applicants were not accepted; the original number that started the process was 124.  The final number was the result of vetting, inclusive of physiological testing and police investigations.  (BIS Photos / Eric Rose)
