NASSAU, The Bahamas – Her Excellency Dame Marguerite Pindling, Governor General, welcomed members of the Association of Caribbean Historians in a Courtesy Call and Reception on Monday, May 18, at Government House.  The historians are currently meeting in The Bahamas for their 47th Annual Conference, May 17-22, 2015.   Sessions are taking place at The College of The Bahamas.   Panel discussions have been on the programme, and among activities, an optional field trip to Clifton Heritage National Park as the confluence of cultures of Lucayans, Europeans, and Africans of the New World.  Pictured with Dame Marguerite, seated centre, during the courtesy call are from left: Rita Pemberton, Dr. Gail Saunders, Dr. Christopher Curry, and Dr. Michelle MacDonald.
