STATEMENT FROM THE OFFICE OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL
AND MINISTRY OF LEGAL AFFAIRS

The public is hereby advised that the Emergency Powers (Covid 19) (Lockdown) Order, 2020 comes into effect at 8:00pm on Friday 3rd day of April 2020 and expires at 5:00am on Monday 6th April 2020.

Every business establishment, or undertaking, other than the hospitals (Princess Margaret, Rand Memorial and Doctors Hospitals, both locations); security forces and security services; emergency units of core utilities; and hotels with guests -- shall remain closed.

Persons who are not engaged in any work for the above must remain at home at all times, and where there is an emergency may call the Police at 311.
