BAIC Signs New Labour Agreement with BPSU

NASSAU, The Bahamas – The Bahamas Agricultural & Industrial Corporation (BAIC) on Wednesday, August 19, signed a new labour agreement with the Bahamas Public Services Union (BPSU), which represents staff at the Corporation. BAIC is pleased to have negotiated in good faith with the BPSU, and is happy to have an Industrial Agreement that staff at the Corporation are pleased with.

Some of the highlights of their new progressive five-year agreement include stronger employee benefits, greater opportunities for career development and advancement, greater opportunities for training and skill building -- all paving the way for the further enhancement of working conditions at the Bahamas Agricultural & Industrial Corporation.  BAIC looks forward to working closely with the BPSU to further develop and strengthen already strong and cordial ties for the betterment of the Corporation.
