BIBT and Colorado Technical University Partner for Bachelor’s Degrees

The Bahamas Institute of Business and Technology (BIBT) signed an Agreement with Colorado Technical University that will afford residents of Grand Bahama opportunities to earn Bachelor's degrees. FREEPORT, Grand Bahama – The Bahamas Institute of Business and Technology (BIBT), formerly Success Training College, has partnered with Colorado Technical University (CTU) to provide a Bachelor’s Degree Programme.  On Thursday, three of BIBT’s top Associate Degree achievers were given scholarships to earn their Bachelor’s through Colorado Technical University.  

Officials of both institutions paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Grand Bahama the Hon. Dr. Michael Darville, Thursday, at the Ministry of Grand Bahama to explain the benefits of the Agreement.  Grand Bahama residents, particularly those working full-time, will have opportunity to further their educational goals.  Both students and faculty will benefit from the university’s technological capacities and offerings.                 

Minister Darville welcomed Colorado Technical University to the Island and expressed his appreciation for the assistance this university and others are providing.  He encouraged residents of Grand Bahama to capitalize on the opportunity.
