The Government of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas has congratulated the
Government and people of the Republic of India on the celebration of its
National Day. The Government of The Bahamas looks forward to
continuing the friendly and cooperative relationship that has existed
between the two countries since the inception of Diplomatic Relations in
1975.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has sent a formal Diplomatic Note of congratulations to the Government of India to that effect.
