Skydivers Help Kick Off Bahamas Junkanoo Carnival

TAINO BEACH, Grand Bahama -- To kickoff the Bahamas Junkanoo Carnival in Freeport, Grand Bahama, on Friday, three skydivers landed on the event site, Taino Beach, with Keith Walter carrying the Bahamian flag. The exciting event followed the Grand Bahama Youth Choir’s singing of the National Anthem, directed by Kevin Tomlinson.  Despite rain, residents and visitors flocked to Taino Beach for the two-day event.
