Bahamas National Training Agency Graduates 13 Interns in Grand Bahama

FREEPORT, Grand Bahama – The National Training Agency held a congratulatory luncheon, March 24, in the Oleander Room, Freeport Harbour honoring 13 interns who completed a ten-week National Training Agency (NTA) Workforce Readiness Program.

Honoring the interns on this special occasion was the Hutchison Group of Companies; interns were presented with certificates by Ms. Malvese Capron, the Senior Director of Human Resources and her team.

Upon the completion of the program the interns were assigned to different departments within the Hutchison Group of companies. In attendance at the luncheon: Cecil Thompson, Deputy Chairman of the National Training Agency; Norma Pyfrom, Manager NTA, GBI; Carmeta Miller, Consultant/Trainer, NTA, GBI; Ivan Butler, Headmaster of the Eight Mile Rock School; and Mr. Stubbs, Ministry of Education. The interns were also supported by management, supervisors, staff from the NTA Department, and family members.

Graduates are: Dexter Ingraham, Tempest Ambrister, Barronique Bain, Calyia Ferguson, Tristan Dorsett, Synovia Bien-aime, Shavez Rigby, James Missick, Dessirae Jones, Julian Burrouughs, Prince Jones, Claron Smith and Avery Poitier.
